Pipe Lamp

I was asked to make more functional art by a casting associate for this TV show I'm trying out for. Maybe I'll get in.

The idea is to use found objects and re-purpose them into something useful or cool etc.

I had a broken lamp, I have some pipe parts I use for armature building... I found a plastic ikea bowl that I lost the lid to... and whatever I didn't have (like the large reducer)
I got at home depot.

A few days later I came up with this. Power tools are great.
Gave it a few coats of Brass and I love the way it looks.

It pivots and turns with a goose neck.

Finding the goose neck part was a pain though. Had to check several different lamp stores, but I'm glad I got it.

Is this sculpture? I'd say so.
