How do you turn a man into a machine? You tell him there is a chance that he can better his life. You show him a contest where he knows he will be the underdog. You tempt him with dreams of grandeur. It makes him doubt in his own abilities, He loses days where he could be working, questioning whether he can pull off something in such a short period of time.
He has no choice but to finish.
If he quits, he'll knows that it was all for nothing.

If someone is drowning, offer him a life jacket, a chance at success, this is how you turn a man into a machine.

Also, finding out the art director at EPIC also sculpts and appreciates the art form (via $dollwithagun 's interviews) makes me push myself harder to strive at excellence.

As a traditional artist. I need to translate whats inside of me through my hands. I love making gold out of clay.

My commitment to this project was a soul shattering experience.

I also turned my apartment into a photography studio for this. Fun.

Anya Stroud 1/6th scale sculpted in 13 days.
Super sculpey 50/50 firm mix, aluminum foil and mesh.
1 Day for armature.
1 Day for setting up a photoshoot and photoshop into a background for the contest.
I've sacrificed a lot. Sculpting after work til 3 AM every night.
Taken 2 days off from work. Just to push myself.
The last 5 days, I didn't leave the house. 60+ hours. Fully Articulated. Head turns, Abdomen turns, chest turns.and all other appendages can move.
It would have been easier to sculpt a static sculpture yes. But I feel the need to punish myself.

Rift omen was used from asset pack and then redrawn in photoshop.

The lines are inspired by sculpting the lines in the lancer and clean lines of the armor. Thanks for looking,
