Detail of Gears of War 3's Anya Stroud

1/6th Scale (12'') Sculpted in 13 days for that Gears of Wars contest deviantArt had.
50/50 super sculpey/grey firm

COG dog tag was made from a 3/8th Star washer that I cut with a dremel and reshaped to have 8 teeth.
This project was intense to say the least.

That's not the purpose ! (nothing against Neca and the work of their sculptors) but I have so much unbuilt Garage Kits at home that I don't even immagine buying an articulated "toy" or a pre-painted figure ^^;.
You may see some of my (painting) works in my gallery => [link]

What I like is painting my models by myself, and of course the price of a resin kit is always more expansive than a PVC figure/toy, I'm perfectly aware of that !
Of course I can understand that casting a sculpture in resin is a lot of work/preparation and also that this process really worth for if there are a certain number of kits produced and sold... it can't be done for only one kit... I buy from time to time some kits directly to the sculptors if I like the figure and if the price is reasonable. :iconsecrethandshakeplz2:

What the rules are against selling kits, if you know anything let me know! If I could do it, it would definitely be something that I would be interested in. But until then, I wish I could afford to do your hobby. :3 Maybe some day...

Honestly I don't know all the legal stuffs, I have heard that if you sell only about 5-10 kits or less it can't be considered as a "business" but I think that is really depend on the copyrights owners... ^^; These may differ in each countries...

Yeah that's a very nice hobby. Anyone can do it ! :D
I love what you do with your sculpts and I don't know how to sculpt even basic things ! LOL Thanks for sharing and keep us amazed ! :w00t:
